Enjoy a Fresh and Fast Meal at Urban Plates

Urban Plates was born in San Diego, and you can see the Californian influence in its fresh, healthy, plant-heavy food. The fast-casual chain recently expanded beyond the borders of California and opened a branch in Tysons this past July. Like the original, Tysons’ Urban Plates dishes out healthy and affordable fare quickly, cafeteria-style, so that everyone has access to it.

A chef designs each of its signature salads, plates, bowls, and sandwiches using fresh, seasonal ingredients. So far, customers are big fans of the turkey meatloaf, which is smothered with a house-made barbecue sauce and served with your choices of two sides, such as roasted Old Bay potatoes and beet salad. If you’d like a lighter option, try the Antioxidant salad, a mix of lettuce and organic baby kale with cucumbers, celery, mint, pickled onions, walnuts, grapes, blue cheese, seasonal fruit, and a mint-lemongrass vinaigrette.
