Have Brunch This Weekend at Agora

The newly opened Agora Mediterranean Mezze Restaurant has DC talking. Its tapas style cuisine offers the perfect bites of the traditional flavors of Turkey, Greece and Lebanon. From their lists of spreads to their hot and cold mezzes, you are not going to want to leave until you’ve gotten to try a bit of everything.

Brunch with friends is the perfect time to head over and try a taste of the Mediterranean, when Agora offers a bottomless menu. For $39.99 per person, you can partake in the full brunch menu as well as bottomless mimosas, Bloody Mary’s, champagne or mixed drinks with one of the house liquors (all guests must participate and there is a two-hour seating limit). To start, the baba ghanoush and hummus are bursting with freshness and the flavors of tahini, lemon juice and olive oil. The menu also has a tasting of cheeses and cured meats to nibble on as well. The main events are listed under the “Brunch Mezze.” The pastrami Benedict is served with cured beef, a perfectly poached egged, and finished with hollandaise sauce, all over a toasted English muffin. Since you’ll have friends to share with, you should also order the Baklava French toast. It’s topped with fresh whip cream, pistachios, mixed berries, and drizzled with baklava syrup.
